For over thirty years, Sandra Gontero, CPA/PFS™, CFP®, has helped her clients work toward and realize their most important financial and life goals. A highly-qualified veteran in the financial services industry, Sandra offers her clients a wealth of professional knowledge coupled with real world experience and personalized service. Before starting her own firm in 2013, Sandra was the National Managing Director of Wealth Strategy for Hawthorn (PNC’s Family Office division), providing individual taxation and personal financial planning services geared toward meeting the special needs of high net worth individuals, corporate executives, small business owners and a wide variety of other clients. Prior to her leadership and client service role at Hawthorn, Sandra worked for two international accounting firms; PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen where she specialized in individual, corporate and partnership taxation and small business consulting.
Sandra received her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the State of Ohio in 1983. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 2003, after meeting the rigorous education and experience requirements set forth by the CFP Board of Standards. In addition, Sandra earned her Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2003.
Every year, Sandra is required to take more than 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education in order to maintain her professional licenses. She usually takes classes well above the minimum required and is committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
